GFSmith-Exhibition01

Fuse joined GF Smith for their private view of their unique exhibition at Nottingham Trent University. The Exhibition shows the history of GF Smith’s paper promotions dating back to 1890’s, and was a great insight into different printing and marketing techniques over the last ‘100 plus’ years.

Previously at the Edinburgh College of Art, the exhibition will be touring around the UK over the next few weeks and is well worth a visit.

Fuse Portfolio Photoshoot

As the new fuse branding starts to gain momentum, we decided to hire out the Double Red Studio in Lincoln and professionally shoot a range of printed marketing material we have produced for our clients in the past year.

We got photographer Phil Crow in to take the shots for us that will be featured in our portfolio section on our new website. It was a nice break from being in front of our monitors with Adam setting up most of the shots and Stuart making the tea!

We have just received our images back from Phil and we now can’t wait to launch our new site to show off our clients work!

We are currently working on the branding for the latest templates for their monthly statements, and have just completed a back up web page just in case their current hosting platform has any downtime.

In the pipeline is a new folder design for the client, which will be sent out to their corporate and private investors.

The Big Chill House in King’s Cross was host to Love Spain, Hate Bullfighting on October 22nd, the street art competition ran by the League Against Cruel Sports, in association with Don’t Panic. They had around 150 entries from established designers and artist from across the globe and both of Fuse’s entries came runners up, which was a fantastic achievement.

The work the League Against Cruel Sports do is very commendable. They campaign against the unnecessary and brutal cruelty towards animals in the name of sport. To find out more or to donate check out their website…

Fuse Meets Alan Sugar

AlanSugar

Fuse were amongst a group of local businesses who recently gathered for a talk by the Government’s Enterprise Champion, Sir Alan Sugar. Sir Alan answered questions from a variety of business people at the event held at the East Midlands Conference Centre about how to develop their businesses and the problems they have faced in the current climate.

Sir Alan certainly didn’t hold back his opinions and was very honest, which made the morning very productive and rather enjoyable.
