Out With the Old…

Fuse having recently received delivery of their new business cards with new branding. We have to say that we are very pleased with our new cards, they look great and we’ll be posting a picture of them up here once we launch our new branding in the coming weeks.

But, having said that we’ll be sad to see the old ones go, as we have found them to be extremely popular, they have cropped up on various design blogs, website galleries and have been published in two books.

Lets hope the new cards will be just as successful!

ING Logo & Business Card

Fuse Design have recently created the new identity and business cards for Nottingham based networking group – ING.

The Independent Networking Group is unlike other networking groups. They have a collection of individuals from various different industries dedicated to networking without the strings and financial investments. The group generates a healthy source of leads in an atmosphere of mutual support without the need for substitutes, joining fees, pressure to bring any type of referral or attend every week.

The group meets at 07:15, Thursday mornings at Edwalton Golf Club. They run a ‘Pay as you go’ system. There is no joining fee, no membership fee and your first visit to our breakfast meetings will be free. If your interested in becoming a member or finding out more please email info@independentnetworking.co.uk.

Copenhagen

Fuse have recently returned from a great visit to Copenhagen.

You would expect Copenhagen and its surroundings to have something rather special up its sleeve in the art and design department and we were not disappointed. Copenhagen’s architectural richness is one of the first things that strikes you in city. From the delightful 17th century Dutch-style town houses that line the quay at Nyhavn to the dynamic modern extensions to venerable old buildings. The museums house impressive collections of both classic and modern Danish and international art and design, which was right up our street.

One of the highlights of the trip was the Danish Design Centre (DDC). The main exhibition on at the time was the ‘10+ Design Forecast’ which takes stock of Danish design in the first ten years of the new millennium and examines which design trends have a big role to play in the years to come.

If you’re interested in any aspect of design, then Copenhagen is certainly the place for you.

Gourmandie Logo

The website is currently being designed and built by Fuse, but if this is something that interests you, whether you are a customer or a chef who is looking to get involved, visit www.gourmandie.com

The Big Chill House in King’s Cross was host to Love Spain, Hate Bullfighting on October 22nd, the street art competition ran by the League Against Cruel Sports, in association with Don’t Panic. They had around 150 entries from established designers and artist from across the globe and both of Fuse’s entries came runners up, which was a fantastic achievement.

The work the League Against Cruel Sports do is very commendable. They campaign against the unnecessary and brutal cruelty towards animals in the name of sport. To find out more or to donate check out their website…

Fuse Meets Alan Sugar

AlanSugar

Fuse were amongst a group of local businesses who recently gathered for a talk by the Government’s Enterprise Champion, Sir Alan Sugar. Sir Alan answered questions from a variety of business people at the event held at the East Midlands Conference Centre about how to develop their businesses and the problems they have faced in the current climate.

Sir Alan certainly didn’t hold back his opinions and was very honest, which made the morning very productive and rather enjoyable.

Daylight & Sunlight Identity

Daylight&Sunlight_blog

We have just completed the branding for Daylight & Sunlight – a company
who specialises in daylight, sunlight and overshadowing advice to clients
with regards to their proposed developments. The concise logo is an graphical representation of the suns paths over the course of a typical year. This is accompanied by a nicely balanced serif typeface, which reflects
the companies professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail.

Keep an eye out for the stationery and website which will appear here soon

End of the Line

Imagine the world without fish?

The End of the Line, the first major feature documentary film revealing the impact of overfishing on our oceans, it had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in the World Cinema Documentary Competition earlier this year. Now the Director is keen to raise funding for the best possible marine conservation initiatives, and have employed the talented team at Scott Prenn, who are now working to develop a capital campaign fundraising strategy and fundraising package called Project Blue.

Working along side Scott Prenn, Fuse are working on Project Blue, producing presentations and reports to aid the case for support. Keep a look out on our blog for future updates.
