Copenhagen

Fuse have recently returned from a great visit to Copenhagen.
You would expect Copenhagen and its surroundings to have something rather special up its sleeve in the art and design department and we were not disappointed. Copenhagen’s architectural richness is one of the first things that strikes you in city. From the delightful 17th century Dutch-style town houses that line the quay at Nyhavn to the dynamic modern extensions to venerable old buildings. The museums house impressive collections of both classic and modern Danish and international art and design, which was right up our street.
One of the highlights of the trip was the Danish Design Centre (DDC). The main exhibition on at the time was the ‘10+ Design Forecast’ which takes stock of Danish design in the first ten years of the new millennium and examines which design trends have a big role to play in the years to come.
If you’re interested in any aspect of design, then Copenhagen is certainly the place for you.
