Fuse joined GF Smith for their private view of their unique exhibition at Nottingham Trent University. The Exhibition shows the history of GF Smith’s paper promotions dating back to 1890’s, and was a great insight into different printing and marketing techniques over the last ‘100 plus’ years.
Previously at the Edinburgh College of Art, the exhibition will be touring around the UK over the next few weeks and is well worth a visit.

It’s been on our ‘jobs to do list’ for a while, but now we have got around to adding this entry into our blog!
Above are our Fuse portfolio’s we have been using this year, providing an insight for our new and existing clients into what we do here.
Only 100 limited edition portfolio’s where made and involved 3 different companies who are specialists in their fields. The covers are white satin foiled onto ebony Colourplan from GF Smith, the text pages where printed digitally to both sides, and a citrine Colourplan fly sheet was added between the cover and text pages. These pages where then creased and folded and machine sewn to bind them in a cotton that matched the citrine fly sheet.
Overall they have been a massive success and now the plan is to make it an annual marketing exercise!

We have just received delivery of our promotional poster mail outs and we
have to say they look fantastic. They are printed on a Mohawk Superfine,
an environmentally credited carbon-neutral paper from GF Smith. The print
quality is to the highest quality, so thanks to local printers Central
Colour who specialise in printing on uncoated stocks. If you wish to
receive a free copy of our poster please feel free to get in contact by clicking here.

Bullfighting is a cruel and unnecessary pastime in which the severely disadvantaged bull is tortured over a prolonged period before meeting almost certain death. The League Against Cruel Sports wants to take that message ‘Love Spain, Hate Bullfighting‘ and has asked designers to provide artwork to promote the message.
Fuse has entered 2 designs into the competition, which are voted for by the general public, the top 20 designs will be put forward with a winner picked by a judging panel – to vote or to see the other entries please follow one of the two links below.
